Fitness Class Descriptions
Kinetic Dance Force offers group fitness classes to people of all fitness levels. Our mission is to provide safe, effective and fun fitness programs that empower you to take control of your health and wellness in a judgment free, community-oriented fitness environment. KDF is a place where everyone can gather to exercise and support each other. Attending sessions weekly helps you stay on track. Knowing that you are missed when you are not here helps us hold each other accountable.
With dozens of group exercise classes to choose from, you’re sure to find something that’s right for you. Space is limited. Advanced registration is REQUIRED through The Kinetic Dance Force Portal. Reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance.
HIIT circuit-based strength class is an intense and time-efficient workout that alternates between high-intensity strength exercises and short rest periods. Zumba is a high-energy fitness class that combines dance and aerobic movements with Latin and international music. Participants follow the instructor's choreography, which includes easy-to-follow dance steps and body movements, making it accessible to people of all fitness levels. Bootcamp class is a high-intensity group workout that combines elements of strength training, cardiovascular exercises, and functional movements. Participants can expect a challenging and varied routine, including bodyweight exercises, plyometrics, and interval training to improve endurance, strength, and overall fitness. Led by motivating instructors, this class is designed to push individuals to their limits and achieve optimal results in a supportive and team-oriented environment.
Step & Strength
Step aerobics class is a dynamic and fun cardiovascular workout that involves performing choreographed routines on an elevated platform called a step. Participants follow the instructor's lead to step up and down the platform, combining rhythmic movements with upper body exercises for a comprehensive workout. This high-energy class enhances cardiovascular fitness, burns calories, and improves coordination and lower body strength.
Strength training class focuses on using resistance exercises such as weights, resistance bands, and bodyweight movements to build and tone muscles. Participants engage in various exercises targeting different muscle groups, helping to improve overall strength, muscular endurance, and body composition. Thia class is a unique and effective workout that blends ballet-inspired movements, Pilates, and strength exercises. Participants use a ballet barre as a prop to perform small isometric movements, targeting specific muscle groups to sculpt and tone the body. This low-impact yet challenging class is suitable for all fitness levels, providing a full-body workout that improves flexibility, balance, and muscle definition.
This class is a high-energy and empowering workout that blends traditional kickboxing techniques with cardiovascular exercises. Participants perform a series of kicks, punches, and knee strikes, engaging the entire body for an intense cardio session. This class is ideal for individuals looking to improve cardiovascular endurance, burn calories, and release stress while learning self-defense moves in a dynamic and supportive setting.
60-minute workout for all levels. This class follows the principles of Ashtanga Yoga. The focus of the class is the breath. You will move from one posture to the next while learning to connect your breath to your movement. This is a pace-yourself class and all levels are welcome.
