About Ms. Macy
Macy Monroe began her dance training in Port St. Lucie, Florida, where she studied at St. Lucie Ballet under the direction of Rogelio Corrales and Lydia Oquendo. During her time there, she performed featured roles in productions such as The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, and Coppelia. She also spent summers training at the American Ballet Theatre program in Texas and MODAS in New Mexico, where she worked with renowned artists including Wes Chapman, Duncan Cooper, and Kiki Lucas. Following her performing years, Macy transitioned into teaching, specializing in pointe, ballet, variations, and choreography, and has set multiple pieces for annual productions. She brings a strong technical foundation and passion for classical ballet into the studio, creating a focused and supportive environment where dancers can refine their technique and develop a deeper love for the art form.
