What Is Competition Season Like at KDF Company?
KDF Company is the audition-based competitive team at Kinetic Dance Force in Winter Springs, and competition season is a central part of its year. Company dancers take multiple classes per week plus Saturday rehearsals and compete on weekends. Knowing what to expect helps your family stay organized.
What is the weekly commitment for KDF Company?
KDF Company dancers take multiple classes per week plus Saturday rehearsals and compete at weekend competitions during the season. That is a bigger commitment than recreational classes, where each class meets once a week and your dancer chooses how many classes to take. Solos, duets and trios are part of the Company program, by request and evaluation.
What does a Company season cost?
Company costs can include monthly tuition, competition fees, costumes and travel expenses. Tuition is a monthly flat rate based on the number of classes, and costumes carry a separate fee. See Rates and Policies for tuition, and ask the studio office early about the other costs so your family can plan.
How does the studio keep families organized?
Ask the studio office first: call (689) 209-4300 or email info@kdanceforce.com about any deadline or requirement. A shared family calendar helps you track rehearsals, competitions and costume deadlines next to school events. Check the season calendar for studio closures.

What should my family expect emotionally?
Competition season is exciting and sometimes stressful. Dancers invest in their routines, care deeply about the outcome, and feel the energy of performing. Be ready to celebrate the growth your dancer shows, win or lose. Look for growth in technique, performance quality and confidence over the season, even when placements change. Support the team environment: encourage your dancer to cheer teammates, attend group rehearsals on time, and stay positive when schedules feel packed. Help your dancer balance excitement with perspective, so they enjoy the experience and friendships that come with Company.
What if my dancer wants to pause or quit Company?
Talk with the instructors early if your dancer is struggling; the conversation helps everyone make the right choice. To drop a class, KDF requires 30 days written notice by email to info@kdanceforce.com.
